Android Tutorials
Community efforts like the Android mobile operating system and the Open Handset Alliance will never succeed unless everyone gives back to the community. As part of our effort in helping those that helped us get this far with developing Pocket Journey, we have posted several tutorials on the blog and have provided a list of them below. Please check them out and also look at our video introducing Pocket Journey. If any of the techniques shown in the video are unfamiliar, let us know & we'll try to make a tutorial explaining them.
4.2:  Passing custom attributes via XML resource files
If you've been creating custom View classes for your user interface, then this is a must tutorial. It shows how to place your custom UI-specific attributes into your resource XML files just like Android does.
4.1:  Image & Text-Only Buttons

3:  Custom Media Streaming for Android's MediaPlayer

2:  "Hit" testing on a View (MapView)

1:  Transparent Panel (Linear Layout) On MapView (Google Map)

One disclaimer: If you're new to Android then please check out the already abundant information out there. However if an advanced technique like caching of streamed audio/video or advanced View rendering has you stuck, then let us know and we'd be glad to write an additional tutorial.
